Emigdio Chavez-Angel

Emigdio Chavez-Angel is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) since November 2016, specializing in three-omega thermal measurements, chemometrics, and spectroscopical methods. Prior to this role, Emigdio worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz from July 2015 to November 2016, focusing on half-Heusler materials and thermoelectricity. Emigdio's research experience at ICN2 also includes work on 3-w omega measurements from May 2010 to June 2015. Emigdio holds a PhD in Physics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2011-2014) and a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence with Deep Learning from UPC School (2019). Educational background also includes a Master's degree in Experimental Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a mention in Astronomy from Universidad Católica del Norte.
