Benoit Coulombe

Benoit Coulombe has a diverse work experience in the field of research and academia. Benoit started their career as a Professor at Université de Sherbrooke in 1993 and worked there until 2001. In 2001, they joined the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM) as the Director of the Department of Translational Proteomics. Benoit also held other roles at IRCM, including Director of the Biomarker Discovery Pipeline strategic initiative and Director of the Proteomics Discovery Platform. Alongside their work at IRCM, they have also been a Full Research Professor at Université de Montréal since 2001. Overall, Benoit Coulombe has a rich background in research, with a focus on proteomics and translational research.

Benoit Coulombe earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry from Université de Montréal in 1984. Benoit then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology from the same university, completing it in 1989. In 1990, Coulombe became a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto. Benoit continued their postdoctoral research at Université libre de Bruxelles from 1992 to 1993.
