Anastasia Sklia is currently a PhD Candidate at Institut Fresnel, focusing on imaging optics and biomechanics, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Anastasia worked as a Photonics Engineer at ELI Beamlines from September 2022 to November 2023, where responsibilities included operating and improving diagnostics for short and long-pulse technologies, archiving data, and conducting performance analysis. An internship at IEMN CNRS from February to September 2022 involved optical characterization of biomolecules using TeraHertz photonics, while a prior internship at FORTH/ICE-HT in 2021 centered on laser-based graphene production and supercapacitor applications. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nano-Bio-Photonics from ENS Paris-Saclay and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physics from the University of Patras. Skills encompass a range of software and programming languages, including MATLAB, Python, and COMSOL.
