Romain Koszul is an accomplished scientist and leader in the field of genetics, currently serving as the Director of the Department of Genomes and Genetics at Institut Pasteur since January 2011. Romain has held multiple positions at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique since January 2009, including Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship and teaching role at Harvard University from January 2005 to December 2008, as well as a brief tenure as a Webdesigner at IBM Global Services in 2000. Romain holds a PhD in Genetics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Computer Science from AgroParisTech, and an MSc in Biochemistry, Genetics, Economy, and Maths from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI).
