Alison Carter is a Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Employment Studies, where since September 2016, expertise has been focused on HR, change, and leadership development, particularly in areas related to change-ready teams and supporting working carers. Previously, from 2006 to December 2016, Alison served as an Editorial Advisory Group Member for Coaching at Work and worked as an independent researcher in HR, leadership, and coaching. Notable achievements include publishing a landmark study on executive coaching in 2001 and establishing measurement methods for evaluating return on investment in coaching interventions. Alison has also contributed as Co-Chair for the Harvard 2nd International Coaching Research Forum and held various leadership positions within the field, including serving on advisory boards and editorial teams. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Henley Business School, a Doctor of Business Administration from Bournemouth University, and a BA(Hons) from Kingston University.
