Pedro Netto S.

Pedro N. is a highly experienced research scientist with a focus on corrosion and materials science. Currently employed at the Institute for Energy Technology since August 2021, Pedro's previous roles include serving as a corrosion research engineer at LABCORR - Corrosion Laboratory at COPPE - UFRJ from March 2016 to August 2021, and holding multiple guest researcher positions in corrosion engineering at the Institute for Energy Technology. Pedro also has experience as a welding research engineer at LNTSOLD - Welding Laboratory at COPPE - UFRJ and completed an internship at Petrobras in the Corrosion Engineering Department. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Science (DSc) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, along with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense.
