Romain Catty

Romain Catty is a radiation protection engineer currently employed at the Institute for Energy Technology since November 2021. Previously, Romain worked as a substitute kindergarten assistant at Pedagogisk VikarSentral AS from January 2020 to November 2021, supporting diverse learners and maintaining a safe environment. Romain's experience in radiation protection includes roles as a technician at MAX IV Laboratory and senior technician positions at ESRF - The European Synchrotron and D&S Alliance ALFADIR, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory control, safety inspections, dosimetry management, and oversight of radioactive sources. Romain's educational background includes a two-year technical degree in Radiation Protection from INSTN Cadarache and a Bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics from Université Grenoble Alpes.
