Sophia Hartenbaum

Sophia Hartenbaum is an experienced research professional with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Brain and Behavioral Sciences since June 2023, Sophia has contributed to a study on metacognition by piloting code and training undergraduate research assistants. Previous roles include Research Coordinator, where Sophia standardized IRB application processes, and Registered Behavior Technician, providing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. Additional research experience includes an independent project on awe at the Culture Impacts Emotion Lab and roles in content research and educational support, demonstrating a diverse skill set in research, writing, and behavioral sciences.
