Marat Spector is a researcher with extensive experience in the field of mathematical modeling and optics. Currently serving as a Researcher at the Institute for Medical BioMathematics since February 2021, Marat specializes in the development of mathematical mechanisms to analyze PSA level dynamics in prostate cancer patients. As an Associate Researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev since 2019, Marat focuses on the numerical solutions of non-linear Maxwell and Heat equations and their applications in plasmonics. Previous roles at Ben-Gurion University included Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, where Marat investigated the optical properties of semiconductors and worked on complex equations for validation against experimental data. Marat holds a Ph.D. in Non-Linear Optics and a Master of Science in superconductivity from Ben-Gurion University. Additional experience includes teaching positions and technical roles prior to academic pursuits.
