Ha Minh Ta

Ha Minh Ta is a Research Associate at the Institute for Nonprofit News, leading the Index Pods program to enhance benchmarking data for over 400 member newsrooms. As a Lecturer at Northeastern University School of Journalism, Ha Minh Ta teaches Digital Storytelling & Social Media. Previous roles include Freelance Reporter for Nieman Journalism Lab, Researcher & Writer for the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project at Northeastern University School of Law, and Audience Engagement Editor and Editor in Chief at The Scope. Ha Minh Ta has extensive experience in media and journalism, with a background as a Founding Editor of the Global Observer digital magazine and roles at TechTarget and Student Exchange Vietnam. Ha Minh Ta holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Linguistics & Literature from Ho Chi Minh University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
