Bashir Mohammed, PhD, currently serves as a Science Technology Policy Fellow at the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and as a Senior Staff AI Architect at Intel Corporation within the Office of the Chief Technology Officer. In addition, Bashir is the Director and Head of the TAIK Scholars Program at The Africa I Know, focusing on supporting African high schoolers in STEM. Bashir's previous roles include Computational Research Engineer at Berkeley Lab, Co-Founder and Head of AI at AI Collaborator, Inc., and Visiting Lecturer at the University of California, Davis. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bradford, a Master's in Control Systems and Applied Mathematics from the University of Sheffield, and a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from FUT Minna.
