Joe Bertelsen

Joe Bertelsen has worked in the field of business development and sales for over 20 years. Theircurrent role is Director of The Antibody Initiative at the Institute for Protein Innovation, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were Senior Vice President-Business Unit Manager, Senior Vice President-Global Sales and Business Development, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Diagenode from 2016 to 2021. From 2014 to 2016, they were US Director of Sales at Abcam. From 2006 to 2014, they were Director, Sales, International Distribution and Channel Partners and Neuroscience Product Manager at Covance. From 2000 to 2006, they were Neuroscience Sales and Product Manager at Signet Laboratories, which was acquired by Covance in 2006.

Joe Bertelsen has attained a MSc in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University.
