Jessica Fensom

Jessica Fensom is a Geohazard Analyst at GNS Science, a position held since August 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Canterbury from June 2020 to August 2021, and a Kitchen Assistant at The Princess Margaret Hospital from March 2015 to August 2021. Jessica also worked as a Lab Demonstrator at the University of Canterbury from February 2018 to March 2020, facilitating lab classes for geology students, and completed a Summer Internship at GNS Science in 2017, where a 1D model of wells in the Taranaki Basin was developed. Early in the career, Jessica worked briefly as a Data Entry Clerk for the Ministry of Education of New Zealand in December 2014. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Geology obtained from the University of Canterbury in 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the same institution in 2019.
