Dr Karyne Rogers is a forensic geochemist/environmental scientist with multidisciplinary research interests. Her recent research includes forensics, food authentication and traceability, environmental and contamination studies, ecology, geology, archaeology and geochemical studies. She also work as an outreach educator, communicating science to communities, industry, local authorities, schools, iwi groups, universities and international training programs. She teaches post-doctoral specialist seminars and supervised post grad students, both in New Zealand and overseas. Karyne also specializes in museum and heritage studies providing expertise around contamination, authentication and provenance of museum heritage objects.
