Mark Lawrence

Mark Lawrence is a Senior Geologist with GNS Science. He has an M.Sc in Earth Sciences (Waikato University, NZ) and a Ph.D in Geology (University of Canterbury, NZ). Mark specialises in sedimentological, geochemical, ichnofabric and environmental analysis of fluvial-deltaic to shallow marine clastic sediments, carbonates and mudrocks for CO2 sequestration, hydrocarbon, geothermal, groundwater and geotechnical projects. In addition, Mark has over 25 years experience in borehole image analysis, integrating core, conventional wireline, outcrop and regional data into borehole image interpretations.
