Michael Zipkin

Michael Zipkin is a seasoned professional in graphic design and production, with extensive experience spanning several decades. Starting in 1980 as the Principal at Lucid Design, Michael has been instrumental in the conception, consultation, art direction, and project management of various marketing and identity projects for a wide range of clients. Currently, as a freelance graphic designer and production artist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences since 2008, Michael focuses on designing editorial, marketing, and advertising materials. Previous roles include Designer at the San Francisco Chronicle, where page designs and infographics were created, and Art Director for electronic music magazines. Early career experience includes working as a Graphic Designer at KPIX-TV and as an art director for special projects in the 1980s. Michael holds a BA in sociology, religion, and poetics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
