Kamlesh Alti

Kamlesh Alti is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of physics. Currently serving as a Professor at the Institute of Science since February 2019, Kamlesh previously held the position of Associate Professor at the same institution. Prior roles include Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Amravati University from January 2012 to February 2019, and Assistant Professor at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur from June 2011 to January 2012. Kamlesh began an academic career as an Assistant Professor at Manipal University from October 2007 to February 2011. Research interests focus on ultrafast photonics, supported by a postdoctoral fellowship at NRC National Institute for Nanotechnology and a visiting fellowship at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai. Kamlesh earned a PhD in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from RTM Nagpur University and Dharampeth Science College, respectively.
