Muhammad Zahid is an experienced academic and engineering professional with a diverse background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Space Technology since February 2016, Muhammad Zahid previously held the role of Deputy Director of Quality Assurance at the National University of Science & Technology (NUST), where significant contributions were made to QA activities and the Higher Education Commission initiatives. Engineering expertise includes serving as Director of Engineering for Project Horizon, overseeing the Saab Surveillance System's execution and integration with the Pakistan Air Force, as well as key positions in resource management and production planning within various military and avionics organizations. Muhammad Zahid holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications & Computers from The George Washington University, a BSc in War Studies from Karachi University, and a Bachelor's in Avionics Engineering from the College of Aeronautical Engineering.
