Saima Shabbir is a seasoned academic professional with extensive experience in the field of Materials Science and Engineering. Currently serving as a Professor at the Institute of Space Technology (IST) since July 2010, Saima has held various academic positions, including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Saima's expertise covers a wide range of topics, including polymer engineering and applied chemistry, with a strong focus on curriculum development and quality assessment. Saima is also involved in multiple leadership roles, such as Global Science Leader at the Falling Walls Foundation and Lindau Alumni Peer Reviewer at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. With a solid educational foundation, including a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship at Penn State University, Saima is committed to advancing research and teaching in the field.
