Md. Aftab Uddin is a junior hydrogeologist currently working as a consultant at the Institute of Water Modelling since January 2023, specializing in the Emergency Multi-Sector Rohingya Crisis Response Project. Previously, Md. Aftab held positions as a project hydrogeologist for Narayanganj City Corporation, conducting feasibility studies for an Induced Bank Filtration system, and worked as a hydrogeologist with Islam Geo Soil Engineers in Dhaka City. Additional experience includes roles as a project hydrogeologist for Falgu Sandhani Limited in Cox's Bazar and as a project geologist for the Bangladesh Water Development Board across multiple districts. Md. Aftab holds a Master of Science in Hydrogeology and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from Jahangirnagar University, and has foundational education in science from Adamjee Cantonment College and Ghatail Cantonment Public School and College.
