Steven Buchwald is a highly experienced professional in commercial real estate finance, currently serving as Senior Managing Director at Institutional Property Advisors since April 2022. Prior to this role, Buchwald held the position of Senior Managing Director at Marcus & Millichap from October 2020 to April 2022. From October 2010 to April 2022, Buchwald was Managing Director, Financing at Mission Capital Advisors, where several billion dollars of financing were placed annually across all classes of commercial real estate nationwide. Earlier in their career, Buchwald worked as Senior Acquisitions Associate at The Athena Group, focusing on financial analysis, due diligence, and acquisitions. Buchwald holds both an MEng and a BS in Biological Engineering from Cornell University, completed in 2004.
