About the Role

Your role on the team is key to providing data-driven, actionable insights and analysis for critical decisions to optimize how we engage with our prospects and customers, and how we execute marketing campaigns. We have a passion for continuous improvement – and this role plays a key role in enabling our team to develop, execute and optimize a go-to-market strategy that is repeatable, sustainable, and scalable. The Data Analyst role will report to the Head of Data and Analytics and ensure all data is generated, cleansed, monitored, properly presented, and explained through reporting and analysis for effective decision-making at all levels of management, up to, and including, InStride’s Executive Leadership team. You will monitor the accuracy of our data while leading the creation of automated processes for the collection of insightful and actionable data. We need someone who is comfortable reaching beyond existing structure and data capabilities for personal growth and to support the company!

Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, including electronic health records, patient surveys, and operational databases. Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data.
  • Data Storytelling: Prepare compelling reports and dashboards using our BI tools to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior leadership, clinical staff, and external partners based on gathered business requirements. 
  • Statistical Analysis: Incorporate statistical analyses and predictive modeling to drive decision making at all levels at all levels of the business. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Proactively seek feedback and implement changes to enhance the quality and efficiency of data analysis activities.

What You Need to Succeed in the Role

  • 2-3 Years of experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in an online data reporting platform such as Sigma, Looker, GoodData, or Tableau (we use Sigma)
  • The desire and proven ability to work directly with stakeholders across the organization, including finance, operations, clinicians, marketing/sales, and more
  • Experience compiling analyses of complex data into easy-to-understand and actionable summaries and scorecards for decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work independently and professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • You collaborate well with others and are dedicated to the company's success
  • Knowledge of statistics and data modeling is a plus
  • Experience with SQL, R, Python, or similar is a plus
  • Experience with healthcare-related data and HIPAA regulations is a plus
  • Experience working in a startup is a plus
