Anita C. Gonzalez, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Elementary Humanities at KIPP Nashville Public Schools, a position held since January 2022. Previously, Anita held multiple roles at KIPP Texas Public Schools - San Antonio from July 2018 to January 2022, including Regional K-4 Elementary Literacy Achievement Specialist and Regional K-2 ELA Achievement Specialist. With a comprehensive background in education, Anita spent nearly a decade at The Ohio State University, where research focused on reading and literacy in early and middle childhood while also serving as a Graduate Teaching Associate.
