Dean Kanakis

Dean Kanakis has extensive work experience in marketing and product management. Dean currently holds the position of Head of Marketing at Insulet Corporation, where they are responsible for setting up the marketing organization in Australia and leading a team to optimize the Australian Go-To-Market strategy. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Product & Carrier Sales at FreightX Australia, where they led a team to define and design the software website experience and drove app adherence by delivering a product roadmap. Dean also has experience at Medtronic, where they held various roles such as Senior Product Manager, Direct to Consumer Marketing Lead, Brand & Digital Strategy Lead, and Social Media Lead. Additionally, they worked at Brainpower Training as an Inside Sales Representative.

Dean Kanakis graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in Marketing. Prior to that, they attended Sydney Church of England Grammar School (SHORE) from 2004 to 2009 and completed their HSC. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in "Communicating with Executives" from LinkedIn in 2023.
