Simon Pooley

Simon Pooley has extensive experience in the field of solution architecture, with a focus on the insurance industry. Simon most recently worked at Insurance Business Applications as the VP Architecture, starting in May 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Solution Architect at the same company from April 2018 to May 2021. Before joining Insurance Business Applications, Simon worked at Keylane as a Solution Architect from March 2013 to April 2018, playing a crucial role in shaping LeanApps Life for the UK Market. Simon also has previous experience as a Solution Architect at CSC, Legal and General, and Software Solutions Partners. Simon began their career as an Application Architect at CSC/PFA in September 1998 and continued in that role until October 2007.

Simon Pooley obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Leicester from 1991 to 1994. Subsequently, they pursued a doctoral degree at the same university, specializing in Laser Spectroscopy and Quantum Mechanics from 1995 to 1998.
