Antonie Smaal

Antonie Smaal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in logistics, project management, and humanitarian services. Currently serving as the CEO and Co-founder of InsureMyTrans AB since May 2014, Antonie leads the development of web applications for the marine insurance industry. Concurrently, involvement with the Danish Refugee Council and the World Food Programme focuses on enhancing humanitarian logistics and staffing solutions across multiple countries. Prior roles include Logistics Project Manager at Atos Medical, where Antonie optimized freight costs and service provider performance, and various positions at the World Maritime University and Foundation STC-Group, which involved significant business development and project management achievements. Early career experience includes client coordination at Maersk-Logistics. Antonie holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Logistics & Transport Management from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
