Robert Barrett

Robert Barrett is a Senior Counsel specializing in Global Privacy at Intapp since January 2020, providing legal counsel on contract negotiation, data protection, employment issues, and regulatory compliance. Previously, as Corporate Counsel for Lowe's Companies, Inc., Robert managed complex agreements and supported various business units. An Advising Attorney at Silicon Allee, Robert guided tech startups and multinational companies in Berlin on regulatory compliance, particularly with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Robert's earlier experience includes roles at Advance Auto Parts, where responsibilities spanned commercial contracts and international trade compliance, and legal internships at Mayer Brown JSM and the ABA Rule of Law Initiative. Robert holds a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & German from Radford University, in addition to completing advanced German language studies.
