Minoo Niknian, PhD

Minoo Niknian, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics and data management. They currently hold the position of Vice President, Head of Statistics, Programming, and Data Management at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Biometrics at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from November 2012 to June 2017. They also held the role of Executive Director (Head) of Biostatistics, Data Management, and Programming at Nabi Biopharmaceuticals from November 2007 to November 2012. Before that, they worked as the Director of Biostatistics at Schering AG (Berlex) from 2001 to 2007. In addition, Minoo has experience at Johnson & Johnson Company - Janssen Research Foundation as the Director of Biostatistics and Data Operations from 1996 to 1999. They also worked at Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Research/ Research Division of Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical Company as the Senior Manager and Biometrics Head for Oncology, CNS, and PK/PDM from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager and Biometrics Head for Oncology, CV, and PK/PDM, as well as Senior Statistician II at Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Research/ Research Division of Warner Lambert from 1990 to 1995. Minoo's earliest work experience included being a faculty member and chief statistician at Brown University, Department of Community Health/ Memorial Hospital of RI from 1987 to 1990.

Dr. Minoo Niknian holds a Ph.D in Statistics from Iowa State University. Prior to obtaining their doctorate, they also earned a Master of Science degree in Statistics from the same institution.
