Judy Reiter (Sgro), UXC, CUA

Judy Reiter (Sgro) has an extensive work experience in the field of user experience (UX) design and research. Judy is currently serving as the Head of UX Research & Strategy at Intechnic since May 2021. Before joining Intechnic, they worked as a UX Mentor at Designlab and adplist.org starting from December 2020.

Judy'scareer in UX design and research started in 2008 when they worked as a Freelance UX Strategist at Cohesive Whole. After that, they joined QVC in November 2015 and worked as a UX Research and Guidelines specialist until May 2021.

Prior to QVC, Judy held various senior positions in renowned companies such as Sungard Availability Services, Mobiquity, Inc., Intuitive Company, GSI Commerce / True Action, and Comcast Interactive Media. At Sungard Availability Services, they served as a Senior Interaction Designer from February 2014 to October 2016. During their time at Mobiquity, Inc., they worked as a Senior User Experience Architect from June 2013 to February 2014. Before that, they were engaged with Intuitive Company as a Usability, Research & Strategy professional from December 2010 to May 2013. Judy also holds the experience of working as a Senior Information Architect at GSI Commerce / True Action and Comcast Interactive Media from April 2010 to December 2010 and from February 2009 to March 2010, respectively.

Judy's work experience showcases their expertise and proficiency in UX research, strategy, mentoring, and various aspects of UX design.

Judy Reiter (Sgro), UXC, CUA has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology, which they obtained from Drexel University from 1993 to 1996. Before that, they studied Psychology at the University of Delaware from 1992 to 1993, although they did not obtain a degree from there. Additionally, Judy has obtained several certifications, including the "NN/g UX Research Speci" from Nielsen Norman Group in February 2021, an "Advanced Design Thinking Certification" from IDEO U in November 2020, and a "Foundations in Design Thinking" certification from IDEO U in July 2020, among others.
