Christine Bartow

Christine Bartow, DO, currently serves as Clinical Director and Staff Psychiatrist at UT Health Austin, providing comprehensive mental health care for adults with mental illness and complex medical issues. Additionally, Christine holds the position of Associate Program Director for the General Psychiatry Residency at Dell Medical School, focusing on clinical training, curriculum development, and administrative management. As a Staff Psychiatrist for Integral Care's Homeless Outreach Street Team and the Recovery After 1st Episode Schizophrenia program, Christine addresses the needs of vulnerable populations, including the homeless and transitional age youth experiencing serious mental illnesses. Prior to these roles, Christine completed a fellowship in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at The University of Texas at Austin and a residency in Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Christine earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from UNT Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science from St. Edward's University.
