Vice President, Latin America at Integrated Biometrics

James M. Bell, CIMP has an extensive work experience in the Latin American region. James M. began their professional career in 2001 as Vice President of Latin America for Polycom, Inc., a US$1.4 billion global leader in open standards-based unified communications solutions. In 2004, they joined the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru. In 2005, they were appointed Managing Director of the CALA Region for Radvision, which was later acquired by AVAYA. In 2007, they assumed the role of Director of Latin America for Nominum, which was later acquired by Akamai. James M. also held the same role for Trapeze Networks, which was later acquired by Juniper Networks. In 2008, they became Vice President of Latin America for Crossmatch, which was later acquired by HID Global. In 2015, they joined the Board of Directors of Belltech and from 2013 to present, they have been Vice President of Latin America for Integrated Biometrics.

James M. Bell, CIMP holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained between 1975 and 1979. Prior to this, they attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota from 1971 to 1972. James M. also served in the U.S. Navy (SeaBees) from 1972 to 1975 in Port Hueneme, CA; Rota, Spain; Puerto Rico; and Diego Garcia, BIOT. In addition, they hold certifications from the Identity Management Institute as a Certified Identity Management Professional, which they obtained in October 2017, as well as four certifications from LinkedIn in Business Ethics for Managers and Leaders, Emotional Intelligence, the Key Determiner of Success, Smart Thinking: Overcoming Complexity, and Scrum: The Basics, which they obtained in June and July 2021.
