Penelope Isabella

Penelope Isabella, Ph.D., HCLD, CC (ABB) has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the field of laboratory diagnostics. Penelope is currently serving as the Laboratory Director at Integrated Dx since December 2020. Prior to this, Penelope held the position of Clinical Laboratory Director at Eurofins Clinical Molecular Testing Services, LLC from July 2015 to October 2021. Penelope also served as the Laboratory Director at Ischemia Care, LLC from October 2011 to July 2015. Earlier in their career, Penelope worked as the Technical Director, Molecular Diagnostics at Nebraska Methodist Health System from September 2007 to October 2011, and as the Director, Molecular Diagnostics at Clinical Reference Laboratory from 2004 to 2007. Penelope has also held research and leadership positions at Nanogen, Inc., Axys Pharmaceuticals, Sequana Therapeutics, and PPGx. Penelope started their career as a Post doc at The Scripps Research Institute in 1993.

Penelope Isabella, Ph.D., HCLD, CC (ABB) obtained their PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Michigan Medical School, where they studied from 1978 to 1991.
