Karen serves as the Executive Vice President of Home Health for IHCS. She is responsible for leading the Home Health division and accountable for ensuring overall success of this program by providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership, program development, and on-going utilization management of its key operational areas.
Prior to IHCS Karen was a Principal at All-Med Services of Florida where she served as Executive Vice President of Home Care Services. She was responsible for the operations of their Home Health division which included three Medicare Certified, CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Program) accredited agencies. In 1997, Karen co-founded Visiting Nurse Managed Care Corporation and Southeast Homecare in 2002, where she co-led the cultivation of the Company’s revenue to over $20 million.
Karen’s blended background in corporate leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic vision to realize quality health outcomes and cost efficiency, has made her an SME in the Managed Care Industry. Her extensive experience in Managed Care and Fee For Service Medicare has enabled her to develop outstanding relationships with various health plans, physicians and hospitals.
Karen earned a B.S. in Nursing from Barry University in Florida.
