Matthew Collins

Matthew Collins is an experienced histotechnologist currently working at Integrated Regional Laboratories since January 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a laboratory technician and OPS technician in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Florida from April 2014 to December 2019, focusing on embedding and sectioning paraffin and frozen tissues as well as maintaining histology-related equipment. Matthew gained foundational skills in histology as an intern in various departments at the University of Florida, where responsibilities included operating histological apparatus and ensuring safety protocols. Matthew holds an Associate of Science degree in Histologic Technology from Florida State College at Jacksonville and an Associate of Science in Biotechnology from Santa Fe College.
