Manel Arranz

Manel Arranz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product design and engineering, currently serving as Senior Director of Product Design & Development at Intel since May 2011. Manel has effectively managed a Mechanical Engineering team, championing best design practices for various consumer electronics including smartphones, tablets, and 3D cameras, and has played a pivotal role in the development of award-winning products. Prior to Intel, Manel held managerial positions at HP, where responsibilities included product design and hardware engineering for smartphones, as well as a role at SanDisk focused on audio and video units. Manel's earlier career involved leadership positions at companies such as Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corp and Magna International, contributing to product development and engineering initiatives. Manel earned a Master's Degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
