Carlos Filipe Marques

Carlos Filipe Marques has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Carlos Filipe started their career at Instituto Pedro Nunes in 2015 as a Software Developer, where they gained experience in Full-Stack development and maintenance of Information Systems using Java, Play! Framework, JSP, JavaScript, Tomcat, MySQL, and GIT. Carlos Filipe then transitioned to the role of Front-End Developer within the same company in 2018. In 2019, Carlos joined IntellectEU as a Front-End Engineer and later progressed to the role of Lead Front-End Engineer in 2021. Currently, they are working as an Engineering Manager at IntellectEU, where they have been since 2023.

Carlos Filipe Marques completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering at the Universidade de Coimbra from 2008 to 2015. Carlos Filipe then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Informatics Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering at the same university from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Carlos obtained several certifications from Udemy. These include certifications in React Native + Hooks (obtained in July 2022), Javascript 2019 (obtained in November 2019), Advanced CSS and Sass (obtained in March 2019), Modern React with Redux (obtained in March 2018), and Play Framework development with Java (obtained in November 2015).
