Cedric Loyens has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Cedric began their career as an Assistant at ANEC in 2011 before joining BNP Paribas Fortis Private Banking. At BNP Paribas, they held several positions including Corporate Actions and Blocked Bookings, Commercial Support - Securities, and Commercial Support - Private Banking & Wealth Management. In these roles, they provided support and expertise in areas such as technical, legal, operational, and commercial matters.

In 2019, Cedric ventured into the fintech industry and joined Tink as a Beta Tester and later worked in Revolut as the Head of Country Ambassadors BeNeLux. During their time at Revolut, they oversaw the promotion of the company and led a team of Ambassadors to acquire new users.

Cedric also worked as a Test Coordinator at Van Lanschot Bankiers, where they were responsible for coordinating all testing activities related to a large-scale project. Cedric then joined Capco as a Digital Consultant and later became a Digital Senior Consultant, contributing to connecting business strategy to implementation across different digital fields.

At Euroclear, Cedric served as a Compliance Officer, focusing on AML and KYC assessment, through a collaboration with Capco.

Cedric's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found GIG9, a fintech startup aimed at bringing services closer to customers and service providers. Cedric held roles as Co-Founder and Advisor, as well as Co-Founder, Chief Investor Relations and Business Development Officer.

Cedric'smost recent role is at IntellectEU, where they serve as the Head of Customer Experience.

Cedric Loyens has a diverse education history. Cedric attended Immaculate Heart of Mary from 1994 to 1997, where they completed their primary education. Cedric went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of Antwerp from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they pursued a Master's degree in European Studies at KU Leuven. In 2010, Cedric participated in a Summer School program at Telecom Ecole de Management, focusing on Management with the European Approach. Cedric then attended the Oxford Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2017. In 2019, Cedric furthered their knowledge by completing a program on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies at Princeton University. In the same year, they also enrolled in the Blockchain Developer Program at Consensys Academy.
