Richard Paterson

Richard Paterson's work experience starts with their current role as VP Innovation at Intellifi Corporation, which they began in September 2022. Prior to that, in 2018, they founded their own company called Advantage Platforms, where they served as Founder & CEO. Before that, from 2016 to 2018, they worked at Home Trust Company as the VP of Technology Innovation and Transformation. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at CMLS Financial Ltd. as the Vice President of Technology Solutions. Richard had a role as an Associate Director of Architecture at MCAP from 2006 to 2011. Richard worked at Marlborough Stirling Canada (Vertex) as a Solutions Architect from 2000 to 2006. Richard also has experience as a Technical Project Manager at Cedar Group from 1999 to 2000 and as an IT Consultant at FAME Computers from 1996 to 1997. Richard began their career as an Analyst/Programmer at Clerical Medical Investment Group in 1993 and as a Programmer at Rackwick in 1991.

Richard Paterson attended Kyle Academy from 1980 to 1986. Richard completed their secondary education during this time, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Following this, Richard attended the University of Stirling from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Computer Science and Finance.
