Evangelia Loizou, Ph.D

Evangelia Loizou, Ph.D has a diverse work experience in various scientific and research roles. Evangelia began their career as a Research Technician at NYU Langone Health in 2012 before pursuing their Ph.D at Weill Cornell Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2013 to 2019. During their Ph.D program, they worked as a Graduate Student conducting research in the field of cancer. After completing their Ph.D, they joined Goldman Sachs as a Biotech Equity Researcher for a few months in 2020 before transitioning to NIPD Genetics as a Product Development Manager. Evangelia worked at NIPD Genetics until the end of 2021 and then joined Intelligencia as a Senior Scientific Associate. Evangelia subsequently took on roles as a Senior Customer Success Associate and is currently working as a Customer Success Manager at Intelligencia, starting in 2023.

Evangelia Loizou, Ph.D, completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2005 to 2009. Evangelia then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Cancer at UCL from 2009 to 2010. Subsequently, they enrolled at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from 2013 to 2018.
