Kungawo April has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. In 2018, Kungawo worked as a Receptionist/Administrator at Cape Town Hotel School Restaurant, where they handled phone calls, made reservations, and managed administrative tasks. In 2019, Kungawo worked at the City Lodge Hotel Group as a Front Desk Receptionist/Accounts department Assistant, where they performed various administrative duties, made travel arrangements for hotel guests, and maintained company databases. Kungawo then joined Tshiamiso Trust in 2021 as a Claims Project Administrator, where they answered phone calls, scheduled appointments, and communicated with clients via email and phone. Currently, in 2022, Kungawo is working as a Financial Assessor at Intelligent Debt Management, where they conduct credit assessments and communicate with clients.

Kungawo April has pursued a comprehensive educational background, primarily at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. In 2018, they commenced their studies and completed a three-year Ndip degree in Hotel/Motel Administration and Business Management in 2020. Following this, in 2021, April pursued a one-year Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business/Management. Continuing their academic advancement, they enrolled in the Cape Peninsula University of Technology once again in 2023, undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, which concluded in 2024. Throughout these years, Kungawo April has displayed a commitment to acquiring knowledge and skills in various disciplines, progressively growing their expertise in hotel administration, business management, accounting, and project management.
