Marlize Sterley

Marlize Sterley has over 25 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Marlize currently holds the position of Head of Operations: Insurance at Intelligent Debt Management, where they have been since April 2019. Prior to this, Marlize had various roles at Telesure Group Services, including National General Manager Customer Communication Claims and General Manager Claims. Marlize was responsible for managing claims management teams, driving regional targets, and overseeing people development. Marlize also worked at Auto & General Insurance as a Client Services Team Leader and in various other roles related to client service and sales.

Marlize Sterley attended Technicon Free State from 1991 to 1995 and earned a National Diploma in Management - General. In 2006, they completed a course in Leadership at Grow Consulting. In 2009, they attended the Labour Law Group for a course on Advanced Effective Discipline. In 2011 and 2012, they studied Managing Managers for Results at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science). In 2013, Marlize Sterley attended the Financial Services Board for a course in KI & RE. Lastly, in 2015, they participated in the Rod Jones Master Class for their Masterclass Contact Centres program.
