Simon Read

Simon Read has extensive work experience in the legal field. Simon is currently serving as the Head of Legal at Intelligent Energy since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Legal - Corporate Functions at Bridgestone EMIA from January 2022 to November 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at Bridgestone EMIA from July 2018 to January 2022. Before joining Bridgestone EMIA, they served as a Legal Counsel at Rolls-Royce from January 2011 to July 2018. Simon began their legal career as an Associate at Pinsent Masons in September 2007 and later joined LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae in January 2007. Simon began their professional journey at Baker McKenzie as an Associate in September 2003.

Simon Read's education history begins in 1997 when they enrolled at the University of Nottingham and completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Environmental Life Science in the year 2000. Simon then pursued a Master of Laws degree in Environmental Law at the same university, which they obtained in 2001. Following this, Simon attended Nottingham Law School from 2001 to 2002, where they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. Simon furthered their legal education at Nottingham Law School from 2002 to 2003, obtaining a Legal Practice Course qualification.
