Samuel Cochrane

Samuel Cochrane has over 13 years of work experience in the software development field. Samuel is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at IGS Limited since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at SchoolGrid, where they held the position of Technical Director from May 2019 to March 2021 and Development Team Lead from October 2017 to May 2019.

Before joining SchoolGrid, Samuel worked at Powerex for almost 8 years. Samuel'sroles at Powerex included Developer Tech Lead from February 2016 to June 2017, Acting Developer Tech Lead from October 2015 to February 2016, Senior Developer from August 2013 to October 2015, and Team Lead from May 2012 to August 2013.

Samuel began their career as a Junior Software Developer at Powerex in January 2008. During their time at Powerex, they developed and maintained software for North American energy trading and transmission scheduling. Samuel also provided architectural direction, reviewed code, and identified opportunities to update technologies.

In addition to their experience at SchoolGrid and Powerex, Samuel also worked as a Software Developer at Powerex from September 2009 to May 2012. In this role, they supported and maintained applications, developed Windows Service applications for ETL and data aggregation, and collaborated with project teams to improve application development and delivery.
