Kris Dewey

Kris Dewey has a diverse work experience in the coffee industry, starting with positions at various coffee shops. They began as a Barista at 1369 Coffeehouse in 2010 and then moved on to work as a Barista at Caffe Medici from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Driver for Johnson's Backyard Garden before transitioning back to the coffee industry as a Barista at Flight Coffee Co. from 2016 to 2017.

In 2017, Kris joined Intelligentsia Coffee Inc. and steadily progressed through various roles. They started as a Barista in September 2017 and quickly moved up to become a Retail Manager in June 2018. Kris then became a Regional Manager for the East Coast from June to October 2019. They expanded their responsibilities to include Austin, TX, and became a Regional Manager for the East Coast and Austin from October 2019 to October 2020. From October 2020 to March 2022, Kris served as the Regional Manager for the East Coast, Austin, and Chicago. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Retail Operations, a role they assumed in April 2022.

Prior to their career in the coffee industry, Kris worked at Massachusetts General Hospital as an Operating Room Assistant from September 2006 to September 2012.

Kris Dewey has a Bachelor's degree in Art History from UMass Boston, which was obtained in 2011. Later, in 2016 to 2017, Kris attended the University of New Hampshire, where they pursued a field of study in Philosophy, although no degree was mentioned. More recently, from 2020 to 2022, Kris attended the Harvard Extension School and earned a degree in Intensive Elementary Spanish with a field of study in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation. In addition to their formal education, Kris has obtained several certifications, including "Google Sheets: Pivot Tables," "Leading and Working in Teams," and "Managing Skills for Remote Leaders" from LinkedIn, all obtained in June 2021.
