Mark de Geus

Mark de Geus has worked in the fields of minerals processing engineering, product and application specialist roles. From 2011-2015, they worked as an Application Specialist for Point Four Systems, a part of Pentair Aquatic Eco-Systems, Inc. During this time, they designed, budgeted, and presented quotations for water quality control systems, wrote and illustrated instruction manuals, conducted remote site system commissioning and testing, and was involved in new product research experiments. From 2013-2015, they were a Plant Metallurgist for Glencore - Mutanda Mine, where they had experience with three different copper-cobalt hydrometallurgical flowsheets. Mark also had a successful track record in circuit optimization. From 2015-present, they have been the Product Director for IntelliSense.io, where they are the product roadmap owner of the Brains. app Platform. Mark is also the decision maker on all new and existing product strategy models, and is the “Applications” Discipline lead and budget owner.

Mark de Geus completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin between 2006 and 2010. Mark then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Minerals Engineering from the University of Exeter in 2013.
