Shawna Evans

Shawna Evans is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance and compliance. Currently serving as a Principal, Corporate Legal Specialist at Intelsat since January 2012, Shawna oversees corporate minute books, leads annual corporate filing requirements, and develops governance policies. Previously, Shawna held the role of Senior Corporate Paralegal at Intelsat, where responsibilities included drafting NDAs and managing Section 16 filings. Additionally, Shawna has experience at DynCorp International as a Subsidiary & Corporate Governance Manager and Assistant Corporate Secretary, and at prominent law firms such as Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Hogan & Hartson LLP, where duties included SEC filings and corporate record maintenance. Shawna holds a BA in History from Oglethorpe University and an AS in Paralegal Studies from Manor Junior College.
