Tim Joyce

Tim Joyce is the Vice President of RF/RAN Engineering at Intelsat, a position held since 2020 following the acquisition of Gogo Commercial Aviation. In this role, Tim Joyce leads the RF and Performance Team, focusing on capacity planning initiatives to optimize network performance and customer satisfaction. Previously, Tim Joyce served as Vice President of RF/RAN Engineering at Gogo from 2006 to 2020, overseeing air-to-ground network growth and managing significant budgets. Tim Joyce also held positions at Agilent Technologies, Ameritech Cellular, and Hughes Aircraft Company, with roles ranging from product planning to RF staff direction, and has a strong background in engineering design and network optimization. Tim Joyce earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
