Mohamed Kamel

Mohamed Kamel has extensive experience in hardware design and verification engineering. Mohamed currently holds the role of a Senior Hardware Design and Verification Engineer at Intensivate since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Digital Design and Verification Engineer at Intensivate from July 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining Intensivate, Mohamed worked as a Hardware Design Engineer at Upwork from October 2018 to July 2022, where they focused on hardware design. Additionally, they have also worked as an instructor at Fab Lab Egypt from January 2018 to June 2022, teaching and guiding students in various aspects of design, fabrication, computing, electronics, and networking as part of the Fab Academy diploma program.

Mohamed also gained experience as a Digital Design and FPGA Engineer at Sector B5 from June 2020 to September 2021, where they assisted customers in verifying their RTL designs and FPGA prototyping on Xilinx FPGAs, as well as worked on synthesis and implementation of complex designs on FPGAs meeting requirements.

Furthermore, Mohamed has held positions at Fab Lab Egypt, where they were the Technical Co-Director from February 2015 to February 2017, and an Instructor from May 2014 to February 2015. Overall, Mohamed Kamel has a diverse background in hardware design and verification engineering, with a particular focus on digital design and FPGA development.

Mohamed Kamel obtained a Diploma in Digital Fabrication from Fab Academy in 2016. Mohamed then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Nile University from 2017 to 2022.
