Alex Potrivaev

Alex Potrivaev has extensive work experience in design and entrepreneurship. Alex started their career at Intercom in October 2015 as a Product Designer and eventually rose to the position of Senior Group Design Manager. During their time at Intercom, they played a key role in product development and design. In March 2020, they transitioned to the role of Senior Product Designer before taking on the responsibilities of Group Design Manager in September 2021. As Senior Group Design Manager, they currently oversee the design teams at Intercom.

Prior to joining Intercom, Alex co-founded and served as CEO of Loum from March 2012 to May 2014. Loum was a social network platform focused on local communities. In this role, they gained valuable experience in all aspects of running a company, including product development, team management, community building, sales, PR, and fundraising. The 2-year journey at Loum exposed Alex to various challenges and helped him strengthen their entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

Alex Potrivaev attended Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and Affairs.
