Chiaki Yamamoto

Chiaki Yamamoto is a seasoned professional in the field of international development, currently serving as a Senior Operations Advisor at the Inter-American Development Bank since June 2020. Prior to this role, Chiaki held various positions at The World Bank, including Senior Public Private Partnership Specialist from August 2016 to June 2020, and worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a Senior Result Measurement Specialist from September 2005 to August 2016. Chiaki's academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in International Law and Legal Studies from Sophia University, an Exchange Program at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Services, and a Master’s Degree in Development Economics and International Development from The George Washington University.
